Individual Spiritual Direction
Through one-on-one conversation, we listen together, reflect, and discern the presence of the Divine in your life story as you reconnect with your own inner wisdom.
Individual Spiritual Direction is for every age and stage of life.

SAGES
Join a vibrant community of seekers as we explore the intersection of spiritual growth, transformation and social justice. Our group sessions are designed to foster a sense of belonging and shared exploration.

SAGES meets the first and third Tuesday of each month.
Centering Prayer
Our Spiritual Journey group explores the Contemplative Life through the teachings of contemplatives and mystics, including Thomas Keating, James Finley, Thomas Merton and many others.
Join us for Centering Prayer practice and discussion the second and fourth Thursdays each month.

Kim received her training through the Franciscan Spirituality Center and the Center for Action & Contemplation's Living School.
She is a lifetime learner and seeker, and is passionate about living a contemplative and embodied spirituality - bringing all of herself to, and finding the Divine in, each moment.
Kim lives in Iowa City with her husband, Tom. She enjoys her time as a wife, mom, step-mom, grandma, contemplative seeker, reader, occasional writer, yogi and gardener. In a previous life, she was a hospital pharmacist and manager.

Spiritual Direction/Companioning is a journey of sacred conversation and presence, one-on-one or in community,
in which we listen together for the movement of the Divine in the ordinariness and struggles of our everyday lives.
Thomas Merton once said, "The whole purpose of spiritual direction is to penetrate beneath the surface of a person's life...to bring out one's inner spiritual freedom,

What should I expect in a spiritual direction session? How much does it cost?
During your first visit, we will consider a few questions to gain some understanding of the ways you have historically and currently "see and hear" the Divine in your life.
Sessions last 60 minutes and are scheduled
every 4 to 6 weeks.
I'm committed to making Spiritual Direction affordable to all.
Initial consultations are free, and subsequent visits have a "pay-as-able" fee schedule of $25 to $75 per session.
